Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Patient-Centered Quality and Safety
* Provide clinical oversight for testing services in a unique COVID-19 patient testing environment, including but not limited to onsite employer clinics, mobile sites, and onsite retail locations
* Educate patients on maintaining proper health
* Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage and treat patients' medical needs for safe and high quality treatment
* Document all patient care within an electronic health record
* Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care and coordination of our patients with internal and external colleagues including the broader patient centered medical home ensuring the highest level of care is provided for all patients and at all times
* Facilitates the development of effective Patient Centered Practice Teams
* Responds to patient care inquiries throughout the day

* Delivers excellent customer service
* Seeks to increase patient engagement and satisfaction through integration of feedback from patients, management, and professional colleagues
* Focuses consistently on the patient

* Resolve conflict using appropriate management techniques

* Manages clinical and non-clinical duties efficiently
* Manages multiple demands and needs of clinic operations, patients in the waiting room, and incoming phone calls while maintaining focus and high quality care on the patient in the exam room
* Adapts quickly to new models of patient care for clinic efficiency
* Demonstrates core values of CVS Health MinuteClinic in all communications and interactions
* Assist with hiring, development and evaluation of Practice employees
* Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care

* Validates insurance coverage and incorporates knowledge into care plan

* Works independently: is self- motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for their patients and their practice

Required Qualifications
* Current PA license in applicable state
* Minimum 2 years of related experience
* Passion for the MinuteClinic concept and vision
* Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
* Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task
* Initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility
* Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
* Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care
* Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional public-facing appearance
Preferred Qualifications
* 2-3+ years of Physician Assistant experience preferred
* Providers will be assigned a primary site, however, are expected to travel to and staff other locations within a manager-defined area as needed by the business
* While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to move about and interact with customers, sit, write, operate the computer and phone, speak intelligibly, and hear
Education
* Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
