Reports to the FTM for training accountability.
The Lead Field Colleague Trainer is responsible for partnering with the Field Training Manager to implement and evaluate the Division training delivery strategy as related to their respective retail market. In this role, the Lead Field Colleague Trainer will supervise the day-to-day operations of a team of 5-10 Field Colleague Trainers, while completing the Field Colleague Trainer duties for 1-2 retail districts. The Lead Field Colleague Trainer will follow up to monitor learning outcomes and track appropriate use of training payroll (TTR, TR4, TR5, TR7, and TVP) for assigned markets. The Lead Field Colleague Trainer ensures a consistent learning experience by maintaining the right quality, quantity, availability and effectiveness of the Store Training Sites, On-the-Job Training (OJT) coaches, and class offerings in order to prepare new colleagues to deliver flawless execution and provide a best in class customer experience within our retail stores.
FCT Responsibilities
Executes all functions of the FCT role for 1-2 districts - 50%
Supervisory Responsibilities
Partners in the recruitment, selection, and management of the day-to-day operations of the assigned FCT team to successfully execute the training strategy in respective retail markets.
Observes, provides feedback, drafts performance reviews for, and ensures deliverables are met by the Field Colleague Trainers (5-10).
Monitors the learning quality and effectiveness of the training locations, Field Colleague Trainers and OJT Coaches, while monitoring training completion and the use of training payroll (TTR, TR4, TR5, TR7, and TVP) for assigned markets. o Ensures FCTs are spending their time on the right things, managing their time effectively, offering the appropriate number of classes in the right locations, and executing to the standards for Training Delivery o Ensures FCTs are effectively partnering/influencing respective District Leader around the right number of OJT coaches, appropriate staffing of Coach home stores, and where applicable addressing Coach performance concerns o Communicates and follows up regarding training payroll discrepancies (which are to be tracked and resolved by FCTs) 30%
Reporting and Upward Communication Responsibilities
Partners with FTM and HRBP in the implementation and execution of Division training delivery plan to achieve critical learning outcomes in respective markets (i.e. program execution, training completion, colleague retention, knowledge retention, speed to proficiency).
Builds awareness, shares trends, identifies/addresses opportunities and shares best practices among FCT team and with FTM/HRBP to drive a consistent learning experience for new colleagues o Travels with FCTs to observe interactions and training delivery in the respective retail markets, holds FCT calls to gather feedback and align teams
Suggests/implements improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team in consultation with FTM.
Regularly communicates self-generated exception reporting from TMS or training reporting pushed from reporting groups, shares training updates, and supports roll out of new training initiatives in respective markets.

Required Qualifications
i. You have at least 1+ year experience in a customer service, training delivery or management role.
ii. You are a Nationally Certified Technician (CPhT via PTCB or ExCPT)) or have the ability to become a nationally certified technician within 6 weeks of hire.
iii. You are a Licensed/Registered Technician within the state of hire. (include if required by State Board of Pharmacy for the store this FCT is being hired into, remove if not)
iv. You have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
v. You have strong coaching and feedback skills.
vi. You are proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
vii. You have the ability to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends) and travel up to 75% of the time.
viii. You have the ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in a Training Delivery or similar management position
CPhT certified
Proven ability to manage and develop teams
Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals
Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills for multi- demand and multi- priority environment
Demonstrated presentation skills to influence others
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
ii. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
