Investor Relations Director

Job Description
CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, has an exciting opportunity for an Investor Relations Director to join our dynamic team! As the Investor Relations Director you will collaborate with the SVP, Investor Relations (IR) to develop and execute a comprehensive, proactive IR program to differentiate the company’s messaging and to maximize the company’s long-term shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with investors and analysts to educate and inform of company’s strategy, financial position and prospects
• Lead competitive analysis and positioning to ensure the IR team and company leaders understand how CVS Health is positioned to effectively develop and communicate strategic advantages while current on economic, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market outlook
• Work closely with Enterprise Financial Planning and business units to ensure company forecast and messaging is in alignment with expected financial results; lead other projects as needed
• Act as the lead liaison and IR support to the Health Care Benefits segment
• Oversees the analysis of CVS Health’s sell-side analyst models compared to CVS Health forecast
• Create documents and presentation materials for quarterly earnings, conferences, road shows, annual investor day and other events
•Remain current on changes in accounting, financial industry regulations, and other topics important to the operations of CVS Health
• Lead/Assist with other Investor relations projects as requested

This position offers professional development and the incumbent can lead his or her career development. You will work with Executives and leaders at CVS Health sharing and preparing presentation materials and scripting for the company strategies, operating units/operations, technologies, and financial performance.

To be successful you will need clear and thorough understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project our operating and financial performance and the resulting value for CVS Health stock. In addition, intellectual curiosity and tenacity is needed in order to work under pressure and communicate effectively and translate business objectives, which includes financial position, to the financial market in many formats, including all Microsoft products.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance, investor relations, business development, or planning and analysis for a public company or investment firm with in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets

• Minimum of 3 years’ Managed Care and/or Health Care Industry experience with an in-depth understanding of the managed care and/or health care insurance industry

Preferred Qualifications
• Masters degree, MBA, CPA or CFA

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or similar discipline
