Job Description
Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to identify, cultivate and generate new sales of a product and/or service to Medicare Advantage Plan individuals or groups of Medicare Advantage Plan individuals via, Online 'Virtual' Sales presentations, presentations in their homes or community meetings in assigned business segment, product or geography. The Field Sales Rep will also help meet Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, HMO, POS, PPO, Supplemental & Ancillary Products Sales growth production, retention and profitability objectives, primarily in Hillsborough & Polk County. He/she will work closely with Aetna sales/acct mgmt. across all segments. Bring market feedback into resource/strategy discussions and gathers, analyzes and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives.

Fundamental Components
* Contacts prospective individual members to generate new sales of company products or services via in-home or community based presentations.
* Builds strategic partnerships with assigned producers and customers to achieve profitable growth and cross-sell objectives for assigned business or customer segments, products and assigned geographies
* Follows up on new sale leads from marketing, referrals and own prospecting lead generation activities.
* Qualifies prospective members and assist with enrollment and educates prospective clients on product, pricing and services.
* Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations.
* Ensures product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives.
* Manages/coordinates the integration of client’s and Aetna’s internal organizations and partners cross-functionally to complete sales, installation, and servicing.
* Coordinates internal teams to provide required materials for the sales process, including RFP responses, working with underwriting, network, specialists, product & others. 
* Required to communicate with internal and external parties telephonically and/or in person. 
* May require travel to offsite locations for in-person meetings.  

Background Experience
2-5 years of industry Sales & Marketing experience in Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, HMO, POS, PPO Plan and Complimentary Portfolio Products.
Aetna Florida ‘Complimentary’ Portfolio Products are defined as:
o Dental Insurance Plan (Florida)
o Cancer and Heart Attack (CHAS)
o Hospital Indemnity Flex
o Home Care Plus
o Recovery Care
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, Health and Life Insurance License as required by Florida state law.

Additional Job Information
In Florida, an Field Sales Representative could make (200+) MA sales per year. Should be selling (67+ per year) by their 3rd year.
Candidates are expected to provide documentation of their Job performance for the last and current performance year.

25 - 50%
