Job Description
CVS Caremark is looking for a talented Java / J2EE Developer to join an existing team of developers working on Specialty Pharmacy applications and its supporting applications. This position requires that you should be able to build enterprise Applications and Distributed Systems using technologies such as Core Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JSF, EJB, STRUTS, Hibernate, SPRING, Swing, JDBC, JMS, EMS) and XML. Experience on complete software development life cycle (SDLC) with software development models like Agile, Scrum Model, JIRA, Waterfall model and Development of web applications by implementing Model View Control (MVC) architecture with experience in various front-end technologies.

The Analyst Architect position will be part of the application development team for the Specialty IT team working with a team of Advisors and Senior Advisors. This role is to ensure the quality and cohesion of solution architecture components within the application area and their conformity to approved CVS/Caremark IT standards.

Required Qualifications
0 to 1 years of IT experience in Java / J2EE / Java Script, XML, JDBC, Windows / Unix OS

Preferred Qualifications
Prior internship or experience within a Healthcare or financial organization
- Ability to work to a schedule and meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done.
- Understanding of performance debugging and bench marking
- Knowledge of object oriented JavaScript, specifically the Angular framework.
- Expert knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML/CSS).
- Ability to write reusable code for UI components.

Education
A 4 year bachelor's in Science degree required

A masters degree in Science from a leading university preferred
